Read Pay Tables Before You Play

One should always take the time to read the pay tables before they invest money in a slot machine. I don't know how many times I have seen people sit down at a slot machine, place one coin in the machine, hit three red sevens and think they had hit a jackpot. But to their surprise the machine requires three coins in order to pay on red sevens. I have seen one individual put $350 dollars in a slot machine, hit the top jackpot, and found out that he had just won $250. Another bad choice in slot play is the one quarter only play machine; hit red sevens and win 100 coins or $25.00. These machines carry the same basic odds as all other machines. The difference is that they are considered as sucker bet machines. The photo above is example of a machine that pays a progressive amount of $250. Just because the jackpot is less than most machines does not mean they hit more often. Always, always read the pay tables.
