I am still amazed at the number of people who visit the casino and just throw their money in the first machine they come to. One should always take the time to read the pay tables before they invest money in a slot machine. I don't know how many times I have seen people sit down at a slot machine, place one coin in the machine, hit three red sevens and think they had hit a jackpot. The Do's and Don't at the Casino

During my last visit to the casino I was amazed at the number of people that have absolutely no idea of what they are doing. As I was playing video poker, I had two different people sit down beside me and ask "how do you play video poker?" My response to them was if you do not know how to play poker you really shouldn't play this game. I explained to them that maybe they should go online and learn how to play for free. No matter what I was telling them, they still put their money in the machine and begin to play. I told one elderly lady to play one quarter at a time if she must play. She decided to play the max, 25 quarters per hand ($6.25 per hand). Her reasoning is that she always plays the max on slot machines, so it must work the same way on video poker. Needless to say she lost her $100.00 in less than 10 minutes and continuously threw away the wrong cards while playing. Another thing I noticed; many people leave credits in the machine because they think the game is over.
